Sandeep Yerraguntla - co-president Program: Undergraduate, Class of 2022 As a junior majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology with a Spanish minor, I hope to attend medical school in the future and specialize in the field of infectious diseases. I enjoy being a part of One Health to meet and learn from interdisciplinary healthcare professionals who apply their research studies to help them improve global healthcare problems. My hobbies include running and playing basketball.
Kendall Wilmot - co-president Program: DVM, Class of 2021 I am a senior undergraduate student pursuing a degree in biological sciences. My passion for helping animals and interest in public health has influenced me to take a pre-veterinary path during my time at UGA. My hobbies include hiking and swimming.
Annie Devorak - community involvement chair Program: DVM, Class of 2024 With an undergrad degree in Biology from Boston University and a medley of experience in wildlife ecology, agriculture, and biomedical research, I am excited to be studying Veterinary Medicine here at UGA! Post-DVM, I plan to pursue a residency in Pathology and a career in public health. As Community Involvement Chair of OHC, I look forward to engaging cross-disciplinary discussions during our monthly meetings and serving the Athens community on volunteer days. My hobbies include swing dancing, sailing, and hiking!
Hannah Kemelmakher - veterinary and International Students for One Health liaison Program: DVM/PhD, Class of 2026 Passionate about the advocacy and advancement of a worldwide One Health initiative, I want to do all that I can to advance local and international awareness of the ties between medicine, animals, and ecology as well as promote interdisciplinary collaboration within medicine. I love both teaching and technology transfer, and want to put my degrees to use in the collaborative world of veterinary academia. My hobbies include volunteering and rock climbing!
Linh Voong - secretary As the Secretary of OHC, I want to put forth all of my effort in strengthening as well as advancing the awareness of the connection between medicine and its effects on us collectively as a whole. I look forward to being exposed to new perspectives and voices through our monthly cross-disciplinary discussions. Some of my favorite hobbies includes baking, drawing, and watching shows.
Rachel Byun - public relations chair Program: Undergraduate, Class of 2022 Hello! I am a third year majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and minoring in Public Health! I plan to go to medical school to become an OB/GYN! I joined Onehealth because of my passion for health education across different disciplines! I look forward to serving as the public relations officer for Onehealth! Also, my hobbies include baking, building, and hiking!
Keshav Jayagopi - treasurer Program: Undergraduate, Class of 2022 Hey! I’m Keshav. I’m a rising Junior and a Biology major with a General Business Minor. My goal right now is to become a sports doctor for a professional team (hopefully the Atlanta Falcons or the Atlanta Hawks!). I’m excited to be a part of this club and I’m looking forward to working with everyone to make this year the best so far for OHC.
Victoria Morris - pre-veterinary liaison Program: Undergraduate, Class of 2021 Hey there! My name is Victoria and I am a fourth year Biological Sciences major with a post-graduate plan of vet school! I'm currently staying in sunny Jacksonville FL and I work at a small animal clinic. I love to spend my time at the UGA's veterinary teaching hospital as a critical care teammate and I can be found volunteering at local farms around Athens or at home with my 2 hogs, donkey, and duck named Waddles!
Jae Joe - pharmacy liaison Program: Doctor of Pharmacy After I came to pharmacy school, I realized that there are no plans in place for disaster in the pharmacy field. But I believe that pharmacists should have procedures in place that allow them to respond when any typeof emergency occurs and to provide aid to others. After I took the first disaster management class here at UGA, I loved the class! So I applied for a dual degree program in PharmD/MPH with a concentration in disaster management! As a pharmacy liaison, I look forward to bring the collaborative effort of multiple disciplines working – locally, nationally, and globally – to attain optimal health for people, animals and the environment!
Yoomi Jang - pharmacy liaison Program: Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2022 I am currently a third-year student at UGA college of pharmacy. My interests in medicine and public health led me to join One Health Club. As a pharmacy liaison, I hope to collaborate with multiple disciplines to bring out what is best for our community health and environment. My hobbies include drawing and traveling.
Makayla Peebles - collaborator Program: Undergraduate, Class of 2022 As a junior majoring in health promotion with an emphasis in health services and a minor in disaster management, I hope to to either continue to PA school or continue here at UGA with a MPH in Epidemiology. Our Founders
Rebekah Packer President; 2014-15, Co-Founder Technology Officer; 2014-2016 Rebekah started OHC as a fourth-year veterinary student interested in public health and research. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, cooking with her fiancé, and singing in an A Capella group.
Fallon Moliere President; 2015-2016, Co-Founder Fallon started OHC as a fourth year veterinary student interested in public health and small animal medicine. She became interested in One Health after working as a research chemist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her dogs and going on long runs.
Lacey Pepples Secretary; 2015-2016, Co-Founder Lacey was involved in OHC as a fourth-year veterinary student interested in mixed animal medicine and global health. She enjoys going for runs with her dog, yoga, and baking.
Brittany Feldhaeusser Treasurer; 2015-2016, Co-Founder Brittany was also a fourth year veterinary student interested in specializing in small animal oncology. In her free time she enjoys cooking, snuggling with her two little dogs, and traveling with her husband.
